Design Methodology |
The
following steps are typically involved in the creation
of a Website. Our Price proposal is based on our
time estimates for completing the steps. Please
note that not all steps are necessary for every
Website design job.

Initial
contact
The potential client contacts us about the possibility
of our creating an Internet or Intranet Website.

Initial
consultations with the potential client
We interview the potential client to find out
as much information as possible about their wants
and needs.

Preliminary
research
We investigate resources pertaining to the potential
client's Website, including Web hosting needs
and possibilities, possible audience(s), location
and features of similar Websites, Website promotion
opportunities, and the cost of placing advertisements.

Presentation
of proposal
Our proposal describes the initial layout of the
Website; approximate number of pages, graphics,
etc., a description (and usually a graphic example)
of our design conception; methods for promoting
the (Internet) Website; and a projected cost based
on the estimated time required for each step in
the creation process.

Discussion
and refinement of proposal with client
We meet with the client to discuss the proposal
and to make changes based on client's feedback.
At this point, we also request content for the
proposed pages (preferably in the form of text
files or word processing files).

Creation
of first draft of Website
We create the first draft of the client's Website.

Presentation
of first draft of Website to the client
We make the Website available for the client's
review, and then meet with the client to discuss
possible changes.

Presentation
of final draft of Website to the Client
We create the final draft of the client's Website,
incorporating the client's requested changes.
We
make the Website available again for the Client.
We make the pages from our customers material or
from our custom design material. Client material
can be for example, a brochure, simple text or pictures.
